Thank you Joseph for loving my sister. You shall be remembered in our memories

To Our dear Joseph Joseph was a lovely friendly warm human being who with Vicky took me into their home sometime in 1977 when they were living in Barnet and cared for me and my two sisters for over two years having just arrived from Mombasa in Kenya. I struggled to understand Joseph’s deep Scottish accent. Whenever there was misunderstanding Joseph always took my side. Needless to say if it was not for Vicky’s younger sister Nila who recognised me on the Barnet Underground Station i would not have met Joseph a gentleman if ever there was one. Jayant met Joseph in 1979 after we married and we all have spent many joyous time together in Barnet, Conley Heath and finally Bolventor. I am certain his soul has found eternal peace.
